Maya Nicholls, CMT
Certified Massage Therapist #16356
Maya loves to give massage because she enjoys helping people feel better in their body. Maya is extremely compassionate, has a calming and quiet personality and genuinely cares about her clients well-being. Maya has a unique ability to release chronic tension, relax a tired soul and provides a quiet beautiful sanctuary so that you can "Be truly cared for." Maya graduated from the Sebastopol Massage Center in 2008 and has been practicing massage ever since. In 2010, Maya graduated from Sky Hill Institute with over 800 hours of intensive massage therapy education. Maya is an Essential Oil Specialist and uses a variety of healing essential oils during her massage sessions and creates custom blends for her clients to take home so your healing can continue at home in between your sessions. Maya is a California State certified massage therapist and is fully insured through ABMP.
In November 2016, Maya went to Portland, Oregon and studied Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. Ashiatsu is a barefoot massage technique that uses deep compression effleurage strokes that glide over the body. It combines flowing centrifugal and centripetal push & pull: pumping movements that can create a structural change in chronic soft tissue damage. Bars are used above the client's body for balance, support and precise pressure. It's the deepest most luxurious and therapeutic massage on the planet and if you love deep tissue massage you need to try it! Maya is now on the schedule for this modality exclusively.

Her intention is to convert all her clients to this new modality as it is physically easier for the therapist than traditional deep tissue massage and provides superior results.

Michael's formal training began over 15 years ago when he studied Acupressure and Shiatsu at the Acupressure Institute in Berkley, California. His studies continued and broadened at The Pacific Center of Awareness and Bodywork in Hawaii where he learned Deep Tissue and Structural Integration. These experiences helped Michael realize his passion for Bodywork and they have provided the basis for his well rounded approach to Healing Touch.
Micheal has studied Swedish, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Cranial Sacral, Deep Tissue, and Structural Integration Therapies. His style usually incorporates most of these modalities into a seamless experience that is potent yet relaxing. Micheal has a strong yet nurturing touch and the ability to be versatile in his approach to bodywork. Whether you are looking for a therapeutic Deep Tissue massage or more of a relaxing Swedish style or a combination of both, Michael can accommodate to your specific requests. Michael is aware that every client has different needs and he is sensitive to these needs.
Clients often tell Michael that his intuitive style of assisted stretching and joint movement is very effective.
