Meet Our Team

Maya Nicholls, CMT

CA Certified Massage Therapist #16356

Maya loves to give massage because she enjoys helping people feel better in their body. Maya is extremely compassionate, has a calming and quiet personality and genuinely cares about her clients well-being. Maya has a unique ability to release chronic tension, relax a tired soul and provides a quiet beautiful sanctuary so that you can "Be truly cared for." Maya graduated from the Sebastopol Massage Center in 2008 and has been practicing massage ever since. In 2010, Maya graduated from Sky Hill Institute with over 800 hours of intensive massage therapy education. Maya is an Essential Oil Specialist and uses a variety of healing essential oils during her massage sessions and  creates custom blends for her clients to take home so your healing can continue at home in between your sessions. Maya is a California State certified massage therapist and is fully insured through ABMP.

In November 2016, Maya went to Portland, Oregon and studied Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. She furthered her knowledge and took advanced Ashiatsu courses May 2018, in Tucson Arizona.

Ashiatsu is a barefoot massage technique that uses deep compression effleurage strokes that glide over the body. It combines flowing centrifugal and centripetal push & pull: pumping movements that can create a structural change in chronic soft tissue damage. Bars are used above the client's body for balance, support and precise pressure. It's the deepest most luxurious and therapeutic massage on the planet and if you love deep tissue massage you need to try it! Maya now practices this modality exclusively.

Michael Walsh, CMT

Certified Massage Therapist #69615

Michael's formal training began over 15 years ago when he studied Acupressure and Shiatsu at the Acupressure Institute in Berkley, California. His studies continued and broadened at The Pacific Center of Awareness and Bodywork in Hawaii where he learned Deep Tissue and Structural Integration. These experiences helped Michael realize his passion for Bodywork and they have provided the basis for his well rounded approach to Healing Touch.

Micheal has studied Swedish, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Cranial Sacral, Deep Tissue, and Structural Integration Therapies. His style usually incorporates most of these modalities into a seamless experience that is potent yet relaxing. Micheal has a strong yet nurturing touch and the ability to be versatile in his approach to bodywork. Whether you are looking for a therapeutic Deep Tissue massage or more of a relaxing Swedish style or a combination of both, Michael can accommodate to your specific requests. Michael is aware that every client has different needs and he is sensitive to these needs.

Clients often tell Michael that his intuitive style of assisted stretching and joint movement is very effective. He has found that this technique is useful for unwinding chronic tension and alleviating pain from old injuries. His calm and relaxed demeanor helps to facilitate a space of trust where deep healing and relaxation can begin.

Lindsey Thomas, CMP
Certified Massage Practitioner #18001
& Reiki Master

I always knew I wanted to connect and help people in some way. My journey with alternative medicine/healing began with massage therapy in 2009 when I experienced first-hand just what a huge difference it made in my quality of life. I've dealt with anxiety and depression my entire life, and receiving bodywork was one of the few things that truly helped me through the physical and emotional pain and stress that it caused.
I heard the calling, put myself through massage school and graduated in January of 2010 from Sebastopol Massage School. I then got trained in Reiki Levels 1 & 2 beginning in 2011, and got my Reiki Master certification in 2017.

My sessions begin with a thorough intake and a solid foundation of communication. I want every client to know that they will not just be listened to- they will be HEARD. That is my promise to you, along with the vow to always bring good vibes and do the work to make SURE that you leave feeling better than when you came in!

As I am results-driven, and the services I offer are therapeutic and accumulative- I like to work with people who want to make massage a regularly scheduled and planned part of their life. A necessity, not a luxury! Together we will devise a plan of action and commitment to reach your goals for this session and future sessions.

Massage Therapy and Reiki have absolutely transformed my life, inside and out. I hope that I can help make these therapies the most treasured and impactful parts of your life, just as they have become for me.

 Jenny Koenig, CMT
Certified Massage Therapist #

After 10 years in the demanding, fast paced, and stressful Aviation Industry, Jenny realized a happy, stable life required a holistic balance to everyday work life.  Her career change was driven by a decision to study at The National Holistic Institute and graduate with honors from their comprehensive 900-hour program. As a professional pilot she's never stopped learning and happily immersed herself in an education of the human body and touch therapies. As a result she learned how massage can aide in healing, improve one’s sense of well-being, and balance life’s otherwise unbalanced stresses.

As a California Certified Massage Therapist, Jenny approaches each massage with the goal of providing the most beneficial session for each individual.  Her massage philosophy is not just to facilitate a therapeutic massage, but to provide a personal connection and a nurturing healing experience. She accomplishes this with a combination of compassionate touch and her knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology. Respecting each client’s unique needs to produce a relaxing and structurally healing result is key. Jenny specializes in Therapeutic Deep Tissue, Cupping massage, CranioSacral and other blended modalities with a focus on neck, shoulder, back and hip pain.
